I believe there is a way forward, even if you can’t see it yet.
Maybe you’ve reached a point where life feels out of your control, like you’re caught in an unmanageable cycle of overwhelm, frustration, or self-doubt. You might feel stuck in habits you can’t break or exhausted by relationships that seem unfulfilling or strained. When you’re experiencing an inner battle with who you are, how you feel, or where your life is headed, feelings of loss or disconnection can seem to take over.
Or maybe you’re here because a relationship - one that once felt secure and lasting - is now filled with tension or is driving apart, and you’re not sure how to come back together. You’re both still invested in making it work, but you’re realizing you need to begin relating to one another differently if things are going to change.
Whether you’re an individual or part of a couple, you’re seeking a new way to live, connect, and understand yourself, and I’m here to help you find it.
My Background & Approach
In our work together, I’ll help you make sense of your struggles, uncover the strengths that are already within you, and learn new ways to cope and communicate. I offer a supportive space where all parts of your story and identity are welcome - including those you might feel uncertain or hesitant to explore. We’ll approach your challenges at your pace, digging into whatever’s weighing you down and bringing clarity to the patterns that keep you feeling trapped.
Therapy with me is a space where you can be seen - and understood - for who you really are.
When we work together, we’ll be creating a partnership where you’re in the lead. I’m here to offer guidance, but I’ll always check in to make sure things feel right and helpful for you, and I’ll never be offended if you tell me something isn’t working. I approach each session with authenticity, curiosity, and a willingness to explore even the most challenging parts of your experience. Together, we’ll look at the ways your past and present connect, focusing on where you are now and where you want to go. My approach is grounded in a mix of evidence-based and experiential techniques, including attachment-based methods and somatic (body-focused) awareness. These tools allow us to get to the core of what’s going on - beyond just the surface-level struggles - and help you align with your emotional self in a way that feels empowering.
If you’re open to it, we can include Brainspotting in our work together, which can be a powerful tool for processing emotions that have been hard to move through on your own. I’m also certified in trauma-informed yoga, which has taught me the importance of reconnecting with our bodies in order to create calm and clarity in our minds.
As soon as I learned what therapy was at the age of 16, I knew being a therapist was my calling. I studied psychology at UC Irvine and earned my MS in Counseling from CSU Fullerton, gaining experience in crisis work and trauma recovery along the way. My early years in a crisis center allowed me to see the power of resilience and the impact of having someone truly present in your darkest hours. Over time, I’ve developed a practice rooted in helping clients heal deeply, connecting them to their inner strengths and guiding them toward a more balanced, meaningful life..
